Most of the students don’t even know about this.
And this fee waiver varies from place to place. Our founder, Sayak, gave 5 APs in Bhubaneshwar in 2024. And even if his family’s income was less than the $25000 (United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service GUIDELINES), he didn’t receive any aid.
And yes, the best thing which you can do is to talk to the AP counsellor of the venue directly.
AND PLEASE LET YOUR FATHER/MOTHER DO THE TALKING.

When his father contacted the counsellor, she said that because his family income isn’t less than 5 Lakhs, they can’t provide any waiver. And yes, he gave 5 APs and even received the AP Award with Distinction. His average was 4.6. That’s 3 fives and 2 fours in his total 5 APs.

See, there are majorly three big publishers of books: Barrons, Princeton Review & McGrawHill.
You can download their books via libgen.is website. Here’s a small YT video for it.
And what you can do is that after downloading them, finish up the AP Classroom videos.
This is an underrated hack. You MUST finish those videos because they will tell more about the exam pattern and how you need to approach each question. And after you are done (Sayak watched the videos in 2x… it’s in his 5APChallenge), you need to start opening up the ebook after each chapter.
From a personal standpoint, Princeton Review is pretty great for Science subjects…
Barron is better for subjects like Psychology, Arts type things.
McGrawHill is best for practicing the numericals.
Overall, you need to make sure that you are putting in the right effort and building up your foundations strong.
Else, you won’t get even a 4 on AP.
